Interviewing & Reporting

Working independently and freelance for various established sports outlets, I’ve been able to provide on the ground coverage of various sporting events. From the 2022 World Championships, to the New York City Grand Prix, to the Nike Indoor Nationals for High school, I have interviewed athletes at all levels and from all countries around the world, sharing their stories and reporting on their accomplishments.

I have worked with outlets such as Flotrack and Dyestat in the United States, along with Making of Champions and Track Alerts in Nigeria and Jamaica, respectively. I strive to accurately tell stories in the sports world as well as put athletes in the best light possible when conducting and interview for a story

Track & Field Black History

Highlighting over a century of contributions to the sport, through Track & Field Black History I aim to tell the stories of Black athletes and their experiences in Track & Field.

From Gail Devers to Quincy Watts, I have been able to interview some of the most impactful and influential athletes in history. Additionally, I have shared overlooked stories such as those of Sylvio Cator and Judi Brown-Clarke.

My historical storytelling has taken the form of written articles, video interviews and audio podcasts.
